About the Role
We’re seeking a Lab Designer to create functional, compliant laboratory spaces for pharma R&D, QC, and formulation units. You’ll transform scientific requirements into efficient, safety-compliant designs.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design optimized lab layouts (workflow, equipment placement, utilities)
✔ Create detailed technical drawings (construction-ready)
✔ Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, and stakeholders
✔ Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and biosafety norms
✔ Prepare BOQs and material specifications
Requirements
Education: Degree in Architecture/Engineering
Experience:
- 2–3 years in lab/cleanroom design (pharma preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit
Skills: - Knowledge of HVAC, utility routing, ergonomics
- Understanding of cGMP, containment requirements
- Strong space planning abilities
