AVSS is looking for a skilled DGM – Production to join our team in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. This is a key leadership role for a seasoned professional to oversee and manage all production activities in our Global API Business. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in M.Sc. or B.Tech. and extensive experience in API production.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all API production activities, ensuring targets are met with high efficiency.
- Implement and maintain GMP and quality systems for API manufacturing.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of production staff.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Optimize production processes to improve yield, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, and Engineering departments to resolve production-related issues.
- Manage production schedules, resources, and inventory.
Mandatory Requirements
- Education: M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) or B.Tech. (Chemical).
- Experience: 18-20 years of experience in API Production management.
Essential Skills
- Strong expertise in API manufacturing processes, including synthesis, purification, and drying.
- Proven track record in leading and managing large production teams.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, cGMP, and other regulatory compliance for API production.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Experience with production planning software and inventory management systems.
