AVSS is looking for a skilled Sr. Officer to join our Quality Control (QC) Microbiology team at our facility in Sikkim Unit II. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in microbiological testing to ensure the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, and water samples.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and sterility testing.
- Ensure all lab activities comply with GMP guidelines and internal SOPs.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and instruments.
- Document all test results and findings accurately and in a timely manner.
- Investigate and report any out-of-specification results.
- Assist in the training and guidance of junior lab staff.
Mandatory Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology or a related field.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in the Micro section of a pharmaceutical QC lab.
Essential Skills
- In-depth knowledge of microbiological testing methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and instruments used in microbiology.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
